RV & Sprinter Van Rodent Protection

RVs and Sprinter vans sit parked for weeks or months at a time, which makes them one of the highest-risk vehicle types for rodent activity. We remove existing infestations and apply Rodent Armor™ protection built for the storage compartments, wiring runs, and insulation specific to RVs & Sprinter Vans.

Rodent Removal & Protection for RVs & Sprinter Vans

We inspect every part of the vehicle rodents can reach, including storage bays, underbelly compartments, wiring runs, and cabin areas, then remove any active infestation and decontaminate the affected spaces. Nesting material, droppings, and pheromone markers are all cleared before any protection is applied, so the vehicle is not just cleared but fully reset.

Once the vehicle is clean, we apply Rodent Armor™ wire and cavity protection throughout the storage bays, wiring, and insulation, and install the Rodent Armor™ Smart Defense Device to cover the vehicle through extended storage. Every job is documented with a written report for insurance claims and benefits, and service is performed on site wherever the RV or van is parked or stored.

    Overview

An RV or Sprinter van gives rodents everything a passenger car does, and more. Storage bays, underbelly compartments, and cabinetry create far more enclosed cavity space than a standard engine bay, and most of that space goes unchecked between trips. Seasonal use compounds the risk. A vehicle that sits in storage for months at a time offers exactly the undisturbed conditions rodents look for.

The damage also spreads further once rodents are inside. Beyond wiring and insulation, these vehicles carry plumbing lines, appliance wiring, and interior cabinetry that rodents will chew and nest in, and a slow leak or electrical fault can go unnoticed until the vehicle is pulled out for its next trip. We inspect and treat storage bays, underbelly compartments, wiring runs, and cabin areas in the same visit, then install the Rodent Armor™ Smart Defense Device to keep the vehicle protected through extended storage.

    RV Rodent Removal & Protection

Motorhomes and towable RVs present some of the largest cavity space of any vehicle we service. Underbelly storage, generator compartments, slide-out mechanisms, and the gap between the frame and the underbelly liner all create sheltered space at ground level, and most of it is never inspected between trips.

Once rodents are inside, the damage extends well past wiring. Water lines, propane lines, appliance connections, and interior insulation are all within reach, and a chewed line can cause a leak that goes unnoticed for weeks in a vehicle that only gets used seasonally. We inspect every accessible compartment, remove active infestations using professional trapping and monitoring, and decontaminate nesting areas before any protection is applied. For RVs in long-term storage, we also assess the surrounding storage lot or facility, since the space around the vehicle is often driving the activity as much as the vehicle itself.

Sprinter Van Rodent Removal & Protection

Sprinter vans and similar cargo-style vans are widely used as both personal vehicles and work vehicles across Southern California, and both use cases carry rodent risk. A converted camper van sits parked between trips the same way an RV does. A work van sits overnight in a driveway, depot, or job site lot, often for years on the same route.

These vans have less storage cavity than a full RV, but their engine bay and underbody construction still gives rodents accessible entry points, and converted vans add interior cabinetry, wiring for auxiliary electrical systems, and insulation that create additional nesting material once a rodent gets inside. We inspect the engine bay, undercarriage, and interior build-out where applicable, remove any active infestation, and apply protection to the wiring and cavities specific to the van’s configuration.

Rodent Armor™ for Recreational Vehicles and Storage

Rodent Armor™ installation on an RV or Sprinter van covers more ground than on a standard passenger vehicle, simply because there is more vehicle to protect. Treatment is applied to engine bay wiring and insulation, underbelly compartments, storage bays, and any interior cavities where nesting material could accumulate. On motorhomes with auxiliary systems such as generators and slide-outs, those components are treated as part of the same visit.

The Rodent Armor™ Smart Defense Device is particularly relevant for this category of vehicle, since RVs and vans are the vehicles most likely to sit for extended, uninterrupted periods. The device is engineered for ultra-low power draw so it can run continuously through months of storage without pulling down the vehicle’s battery, which is often the exact scenario these vehicles are stored under.

For RVs and vans kept at a storage facility rather than a home or business address, we also evaluate the storage lot itself. A facility with unmanaged vegetation, standing debris, or adjacent open space will continue producing rodent pressure regardless of how well any individual vehicle is protected, and addressing that space is part of a complete protection plan.
