RV & Sprinter Van Rodent Protection

Motorhomes and towable RVs present some of the largest cavity space of any vehicle we service. Underbelly storage, generator compartments, slide-out mechanisms, and the gap between the frame and the underbelly liner all create sheltered space at ground level, and most of it is never inspected between trips.

Once rodents are inside, the damage extends well past wiring. Water lines, propane lines, appliance connections, and interior insulation are all within reach, and a chewed line can cause a leak that goes unnoticed for weeks in a vehicle that only gets used seasonally. We inspect every accessible compartment, remove active infestations using professional trapping and monitoring, and decontaminate nesting areas before any protection is applied. For RVs in long-term storage, we also assess the surrounding storage lot or facility, since the space around the vehicle is often driving the activity as much as the vehicle itself.

Sprinter vans and similar cargo-style vans are widely used as both personal vehicles and work vehicles across Southern California, and both use cases carry rodent risk. A converted camper van sits parked between trips the same way an RV does. A work van sits overnight in a driveway, depot, or job site lot, often for years on the same route.

These vans have less storage cavity than a full RV, but their engine bay and underbody construction still gives rodents accessible entry points, and converted vans add interior cabinetry, wiring for auxiliary electrical systems, and insulation that create additional nesting material once a rodent gets inside. We inspect the engine bay, undercarriage, and interior build-out where applicable, remove any active infestation, and apply protection to the wiring and cavities specific to the van’s configuration.
