Vehicle Fleet Rodent Protection

Vehicles are only as protected as the space they sit in. A fleet yard, depot, parking structure, or storage lot that goes untreated will continue producing rodent activity no matter how many individual vehicles are treated, because the population driving the problem lives in the space itself, not in any one vehicle.

We inspect the storage area for the conditions that support rodent activity: landscaping and vegetation lines, structural gaps, standing debris, and proximity to food sources or waste areas common on commercial properties. Treatment is applied to the perimeter and high-activity zones of the lot itself, working alongside the vehicle-level protection rather than replacing it. For properties with recurring rodent pressure, such as lots near greenbelts, canyons, or older infrastructure, we can also set up ongoing monitoring so activity is caught before it reaches the vehicles again.

This is the layer most fleet operators skip, and it is usually why a fleet that has had vehicles treated individually keeps seeing new damage. Protecting the vehicles without protecting the space they sit in only slows the problem down.

Fleet vehicles vary widely in how often they move and how long they sit idle, and treatment is adjusted accordingly. Every vehicle receives its own documentation, including before and after photography and a written record of the treatment applied. For a fleet, that documentation matters beyond any single vehicle. It gives you a maintenance record across the whole fleet and supports insurance claims if damage is found later.

Service vans and delivery vehicles spend significant time parked at depots, distribution centers, and driver homes overnight, often for years on the same route pattern. That consistency works against them. A depot lot with unaddressed rodent activity will affect the same vehicles repeatedly, and wiring damage on a delivery vehicle translates directly into missed routes and delayed service.

Rental fleets face a specific version of this problem: vehicles cycle through customers quickly, but between rentals they can sit for days in a return lot or overflow yard, which is enough time for rodent activity to start. A rental vehicle with rodent damage that goes unnoticed becomes a customer complaint, a diminished vehicle, or an unexpected repair that pulls the car out of rotation.

We provide scheduled inspection and protection for rental lots, along with rapid response service when damage is identified on a returned vehicle, so it can be treated and back in rotation with minimal downtime.

Dealership lots hold significant inventory value sitting outdoors or in structures for extended stretches, and new and pre-owned vehicles alike are vulnerable while they wait to be sold. Rodent damage discovered after a sale, or during a pre-delivery inspection, creates a cost that was never priced into the vehicle.
